Abby's 1st Day of Preschool

Yes, that is right my precious little Abby had her first day of preschool on Monday at Blackwater School. Mommy and Daddy took her to school that morning and "Auntie" picks her and Austin up everyday at lunch to go back home. On Tuesday she started riding the school bus and she loves it. All she talks about is riding the school bus!!! She seems to really like going to school but she is soooo tired when she gets home. It is amazing how well she takes naps now days!!!!

Everything else is going okay. It has been a hell of an evening.....I guess that is why it is 11:00 pm and I am trying to get this posted. Isaac is fast asleep in his bed so hopefully he will be there for the night. His newest thing is doing the motor boat sounds and getting his clothes soaking wet with slober.

This weekend bring s yet another Labor Day weekend. Whatever everyone has planned I hope you enjoy the weekend and have a great day off on Monday. We have a very busy weekend planned. Saturday we are going to Lees Summitt to visit Mom's friend Mary and then Kim and I are going to do some shopping at Nolan Road and Independence!! I know it is early but I think I am going to try to do some of Isaac's Birthday and Christmas shopping so it doesn't hit me all at the same time. On Sunday is the St. Joseph Catholic Church Homecoming Picnic. Always great fun and a lot of games for the kids to play. Abby will really enjoy herself this year. By next yeat Isaac and Molly will really be able to enjoy themselves. Better sign off now....God Bless!

Last night Isaac got to spend some time with Mema and Papa. Oh what fun for them all. Papa was sitting at the table and Isaac was sitting on the table in front of him. Papa took a cucumber out of a bowl and went to eat it and as it passing by Isaac's mouth he opened it thinking he was going to get a bite. He then looked at Papa like hey I wanted that.

Hey.....I thought that was for me????

I know that was just in your hand Papa.....

Ah...that's more like it!!!!!!

Bath time with Mema is always so much more fun than with Mommy. Mema lets Isaac sit in the
kitchen sink and play. I think Isaac gets more water outside the sink than what stays in!!

What...did I do that???

What a great day

Today Mom took Abby and all of the babysitting kids out to Stuckeys for ice cream. Of course I got to join them they came by the bank and picked me up for lunch. It is so hard to believe that Abby will be starting Preschool on Monday. She seems to be pretty excited just a little "nervous" as she says!

Last night Kim and I sat down and made Miss Mollys birthday invitations. I cannot believe that she is already going to be a year old in a few weeks. I thought they turned out darling so of course I had to share.

This is Isaac in his walker. He LOVES that thing. He gets everywhere he wants to be. He chases you through the house if he wants something. He was supper excited to see PaPa walk in the door. He chased him to the door. Sure made PaPa proud!!

Hey check this out Ashley. I finally figured out how to move the pictures!!!!!!

Favorite Card

This is one of the cards that I made on Saturday. I just really like colors!!!!

What a great weekend

Over the weekend I had to work on Saturday morning...yuk! Dad was out of town and Kim and her family were gone to St. Loius so it was just Mom, Isaac, and I. Mom and I had a great time doing some stamping Saturday evening. I will post my favorite card in a little bit.
On sunday Kim and I had to joy of doing applesauce. Mom picked up 10 gallons of apples and then it was up to Kim and I to turn it into applesauce. It was an exhausting afternoon but at least the babies were pretty good for us. The babies really love the homemade applesauce!!

I finally got some pictures uploaded to my computer. I can't imagine why I think this one is my favorite!!

We have had a very busy week and past weekend. Over the weekend Kim, Isaac, and I met a friend of mine and went to Cockrell, MO. I have never heard of this little town but it is very neat. Check out their website It does not take long to go through but them we traveled on to Greenwood and did some antique shopping. Isaac did very well, I think he will be my little shopper!!

On Tuesday we all went to the Missouri State Fair. It was a gorgeous day and we really enjoyed ourselves. We even got to see those famous pig races per Abby's request.

First Post

Well I guess I will be giving this whole "blogging" thing a shot. No guarantee on how often it will be updated but hopefully frenquently!! As most of you know it is myself and my handsome son Isaac, which is already 7 1/2 months old. There will probably be plenty of posts about him later on. He is playing the pick up game with me right now as I am trying to get this set up!! Funny how "fun" they think that is!
